I walked past the bike shop when it first opened in early 2007. Shortly after that I bought from Phoenix Bikes my first bike after more than 10 years of not owning one. Along with the concept of a community bike shop, I am impressed with the mission of providing a program for youth leadership development. It's great that there's a place for young people to learn about bikes, earn a bike and have fun.
