Phoenix Staff, Volunteers, and Youth participants are committed to serving Arlington, in the shop and out. We teach bike safety and mechanics at schools and community centers, assist in bike rodeos, join teen events, bring bike repair days to neighborhoods in need, and speak out for bikes in Arlington. Phoenix Bikes works with schools, community centers, and after-school programs to set up events that encourage safe riding, environmental awareness and active lifestyles. We have distributed helmets to young riders, put on workshops to teach bike skills, and helped prep riders for amazing races.

Family Mechanics

Stay tuned for the next Family Mechanics workshop. Bring your parent (or your kid) and your bike and learn the basic of fixing a flat, tightening brakes, and tuning your gears. We'll also go over rules of the road and safest routes to school, stores, and other community hubs.

Working Wheels
