Shop Mentor – Lead, Serve, and Teach
Mentors join youth mechanics in the shop, helping out on bike projects, chess games, shop tasks and or impromptu rides. The relationships formed between youth mechanics and mentors are a vital part of Phoenix Bikes - Mentors teach invaluable lessons to our youth mechanics through an example of service, friendship, and willingness to take on new challenges. The shop benefits most from volunteers that are willing to commit to a regular schedule - once a week, or twice a month.
Experience working with youth a plus. A knowledge of basic mechanics helps. A desire to learn is all that's required.
Tue-Thu, 2-6pm; Fri, 2-8pm, Sat, 9am–3pm
