Join Team Phoenix on its Saturday bike rides! Our Saturday rides are the activity that our youth mechanics most look forward to. The same us true of our volunteers - it's a chance to share the excitement and freedom of cycling that both young and old enjoy.
Please join us in helping get kids out of their houses, away from their tvs, and into the great wide world. As the ride grows, so does our need for adult riders to accompany the group. Ride styles rotate between museum excursions to the city, dirt rides in the woods, explorations on the region's paths, and others. Contact us to learn more about the ride calendar - find a ride that fits your style or just pick a Saturday and let the wheels take you someplace new. To help us coordinate volunteers, please sign up for a Saturday as far in advance as is possible – one week or more in advance in preferred, but not required.
Volunteers need to be comfortable on a bike, but don't need to be experts - just be ready to have fun! If you would like to pass on your skills and passion to the kids, start a riding club with us – one a week, once a month – and we’ll add it to the schedule.
Saturdays, 12:30 - 5:30 (Check with us before joining, as some rides leave earlier or end later!)
