Route & Rest Stops – Tentative

Enjoy the W&OD with the company of other Phoenix fans. Refuel and stretch out your legs at the rest stops listed below! The following local businesses have generously donated their space, time and resources for us to host rest stops so be sure to extend them some extra appreciation.

There will be a Phoenix volunteer stationed at each rest stop. Please check-in at each rest stop in both directions. This will allow us to know the progress of each rider on the course. Please note that all rest stops will remain open until the final rider has passed through, but these are the general times when they will remain open: Purcellville 10 am – 1:45pm; Leesburg by 8:30 am – 1:45pm; Reston 7:45 am – 2:45pm ; Falls Church 7:15 am – 3:15 pm.

If you are arriving by car, you are welcome to park in the Arlington Mill Community Center public garage behind the building, accessible via 9th Street South/S. Arlington Mill Drive. Please note that parking in this garage is FREE for the first 4 hours ($3 for 4-5 hours, $6 for 5-6 hours, $2/hour thereafter). Be sure to remove any roof-mounted bicycles prior to entering the garage!
Click here for a Google Maps pin to the park garage entrance.

Ride Marshals will be on the trail with you for all ride distance options. Marshals will be able to support with basic mechanical failures.

If you need the help of the Support and Gear (SAG) vehicle, please call Stacey Stump (703-989-5383) who will dispatch the vehicle to you.

For a medical emergency, please call  911. Then, call Stacey to report the situation.
